Friday, May 22nd

  • Families are welcome to come and pick up students' belongings.  Here are a few things to know to help our staff with this process:
    • Please come to our pick-up and drop-off lane during your grade level's hour block of time (listed below).
    • Please stay in your car and wear a face covering for your safety and the safety of our staff. A staff member will take your child/children's names and will get their bagged belongings.  
    • If you have more than one child, you may pick up ALL of your children's belongings during the timeframe that works best for you.  Our schedule will be:
      • 9:30-10:30- 4th Graders and any 5th graders that may not have picked up materials on 5/15/20.
      • 10:30-11:30- 3rd Graders
      • 11:30-12:30- 2nd Graders
      • 12:30-1:30- 1st Graders
      • 1:30-2:30- Kindergarteners
    • Teachers will have all of your child's belongings in a bag, labeled with their name.  **Please note that all lost and found items have been bagged up and will not be returned at this time.  In the fall, we plan to have a time where families will come by and look at the lost and found items.  
    • If your child has a library book or something to return to their teacher, please bring those items with you.  We will put those items in a bag and we will check them back in or return them to your child's teacher sometime in the summer.  **If needed, please put your child's teacher's name and/or your child's name on the item.
    • If you are unable to pick up your child's belongings next Friday, you may either have a friend pick them up for you or email Assistant Principal Harberts at harberts_b@aps.edu to set up an appointment to come pick up belongings on Wednesday, May 27.  **Any belongings that are not picked up by will be stored in your child's current classroom and can be picked up in August. 
    • If you do not want your child's belongings, please let your child's teacher know.
